Enter your professional bio here : Vicki Mayk is a nonfiction writer, journalist, higher education content marketer, and magazine editor whose work has appeared in regional and national publications, including Ms Magazine, Hippocampus, The New York Times, Practical Homeowner magazine, the Brevity blog, Literary Mama, The Manifest-Station, East Meets West Writers Journal and in the anthology Air, published by Hippocampus Magazine and Books. Her 40-year career in journalism and public relations began with her work as a newspaper reporter at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and The Courier News in Bridgewater, N.J. She has edited three college and university magazines, most recently for Wilkes University. A content marketing writer for higher education clients, she also teaches adult nonfiction workshops.
