Enter your professional bio here : My published credits include nine romances (Avalon, Heartsong Presents) and thirty-three books, both fiction and nonfiction, for children (Scholastic, Barbour Books, Chelsea House, McGraw-Hill, Seedling, Lerner, Wendy Pye, Pearson, and Lucent Books). I earned an MA in history from the University of Arkansas (long ago) and an MFA from Stonecoast, the writing program from the University of Southern Maine (2017). I'm a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the Author's Guild, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. I've served as president of the Missouri Writers Guild and Ozarks Writers League.
