She has been very involved in the Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild over the years, and has the unofficial title of being the organization's first paid member. She published lifestyle stories in several magazines including Delaware Beach magazine, and short fiction stories in several Delaware anthologies. She has a strong background in corporate communications and media relations. Previously, she was a reporter and editor on daily newspapers.
