Sherry Beck Paprocki is an award winning journalist, editor and author. In 2018, she was listed among the Folio: 100, which honors the ''brightest, most impactful minds in magazine journalism today.'' She was also named among Folio's Top Women in Media that same year. She is a past president of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (2016-2018) and has won five national awards for her writing and editing work, including those from the City and Regional Magazine Association and the American Library Association's Voice of Youth Advocates. Paprocki is the author of 15 books, the CIG to Branding Yourself and Freelance Fancy: Your Guide to Capturing Spiritual Health, Wealth and Happiness from Gig Work. In it she tells an intensely personal story about her long gig career. Upon its release, Amazon ranked the book #1 among hottest new releases in the self-employment niche for the year. Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Katie Couric, Bob Marley and others are included the big personal brands that Sherry has written about in a collection juvenile biographies produced by Chelsea House.
