Enter your professional bio here : Samantha holds an MFA in fiction from the Creative Writing Program at New York University and was awarded a 2024 Delaware State Artist Fellowship grant. Her writing on immigration, education, solutions-oriented social justice, community building, food and drink, travel, running, relationships, and other subjects has appeared in publications including The New York Times, Newsweek, Reader's Digest, Marie Claire, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Wine Enthusiast, Edible, The Northern Virginia Review, and other publications. An excerpt from her debut novel of historical fiction was a winner in the Spring 2023 Novel Slices Contest. Samantha is a certified Montessori educator and was a classroom teacher for over a decade. She has taught creative writing at NYU and Emerson College as well as in public and private schools in New York and Massachusetts. She is also a certified grant writer and nonprofit communications specialist.
