Robert C. Yeager For the past dozen years, Robert C. Yeager has written about collector cars and collector car markets for The New York Times. Prior to that he was a longtime originals writer for Reader's Digest. He has worked as a daily newspaper reporter, an Associated Press correspondent, and a CEO-level speechwriter for a Fortune Top 10 company. His nonfiction book Seasons of Shame: The New Violence in Sports, was reviewed in Barrons, the New York Times, et al, excerpted in Reader's Digest and featured on CBS 60 Minutes; Losing It: The Economic Fall of the Middle Class was translated, excerpted in Readers Digest, and featured as a four-day serialized excerpt in some 60 metropolitan newspapers. His novel, The Romanov Stone, won an Independent Publisher's ''Ippy'' for suspense/thrillers, an IndieReader Discovery Award for General Fiction at Book Expo New York, and was optioned by a prominent Hollywood film director. His new novel, The Great Mogul, will be published by Rogue Phoenix Press on May 1, 2026. Born in Los Angeles, Yeager attended Columbia University and has degrees from Whittier College and the University of California at Berkeley. He has lived in the U.S. and London, England, and traveled in the UK, Africa, Europe, Mexico and Canada.
