Enter your professional bio here : Nandita Godbole is an award-winning journalist, author, and cultural commentator whose work explores the intersections of food, identity, place, and material culture. A member of the Asian American Journalists Association, she has written for national and regional publications including NBC News, BBC Future, Forbes, NPR, Epicurious, Salon, PopSugar, StyleCaster, and LAist. Godbole is the author of seven books, including Masaleydaar: Classic Indian Spice Blends, recipient of a Special Award from the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Trained in botany and landscape architecture, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to reporting on foodways, design, history, hospitality, arts, and culture. She is based in metro Atlanta and frequently reports on South Asian culture and the evolving American food landscape.
