For more than 25 years, Karon Warren has written stories and content for numerous consumer and trade outlets as well as content marketing agencies and clients. Her primary topics are travel, tourism & hospitality, healthcare, insurance, personal finance, and lifestyle, and content includes articles, blog posts and website copy. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor of arts in journalism, Karon started her career as a copy editor for a daily newspaper before moving on to a bridal magazine where she served as a senior editor. She then made the move to freelance work, where she has worked with numerous clients and covered many topics over the last two decades. In 2022, Karon published her first book, “100 Things to Do in the North Georgia Mountains Before You Die,” with Reedy Press. The second edition of her book was published in 2026.
