Enter your professional bio here : Jill Robinson is an independent journalist who contributes to National Geographic, AFAR, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Sierra, Saturday Evening Post, Virtuoso The Magazine, Nob Hill Gazette, AAA Explorer, Via, San Francisco Chronicle, and a wide variety of print and digital publications. She has written and contributed to several books: ''The Traveler's Atlas of the World'' (2025, published by National Geographic), ''San Francisco Scavenger'' (2023, published by Reedy Press), ''Great Outdoors U.S.A.: 1,000 Adventures Across All 50 States'' (2023, published by National Geographic), ''Gordon Ramsay's Uncharted: A Culinary Adventure With 60 Recipes from Around the Globe'' (2023, published by National Geographic), and ''100 Things to Do in San Francisco Before You Die'' (2018, published by Reedy Press). Jill has received four Lowell Thomas Awards from the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation, including the 2024 Silver Award for Travel Journalist of the Year. Her work has also been anthologized in ''The Best Travel Writing'' and ''The Best Women's Travel Writing'' series.
