Enter your professional bio here : My career has spanned four decades as a writer, photographer and editor. I started as a weekly and daily newspaper editor in South Florida, where I was a staff reporter and editor. In 1977, I became managing editor of the Houston news bureau writing and editing two daily newspapers, five consumer magazines and three weekly newsletters. I hired and trained reporters to cover news and feature stories in North America and was responsible for a news bureau in Washington, DC. In 1979, I transferred to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where I edited the same daily newspapers and five magazines. Many of my staff from Houston were also transferred to Saudi Arabia and continued to write news and features for the newspapers. One of the newspapers was published in London. In 1985 to 1988, I was managing editor and new publicaiton development editor with the Crittenden News Service in Novato, Calif. I managed a staff of writers on insurance, real estate, financing and economic newsletters. I launched several dozen new newsletters, including the writing, editing and marketing. In 1989, I joined the Saudi Arabian OIl Company in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia as a senior writer and editor. For five years I edited two weekly English-languare newspapers distributed to 60,000 employees in five communities. I wrote and edited stories for the company's technical journal for engineers, geologists and other technological employees. I retired from this company in 2004. In 2004 to 2006, I was Southeast managing editor of Insurance Journal, a business magazine published in San Diego for independent insurance agents. 2014 to 2020, editor, St. Kitts and Nevis Observer. Upon returning to Florida, I have been a full-time freelance writer, photographer and video-journalist.
