Amy Paturel is a health writer whose work appears in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Discover Magazine and The Cut. An award-winning journalist, Amy also teaches personal essay writing to students across the globe. She is at work on her first memoir.
Prior to becoming a journalist, Amy analyzed health behaviors for the United States Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health Services. She holds masters degrees in nutrition and public health from Tufts University.
