Alina Tugend is an award-winning journalist who writes for numerous national publications on education and other topics, including The New York Times, The Chronicle of Higher Education and Kiplinger Retirement Report.
From 2005-2015 she wrote the biweekly “Shortcuts” column for The New York Times business section.
