A proud member of the Banned Books Week Coalition, ASJA is the nation's premier organization of professional independent nonfiction writers and we advocate for First Amendment and freelance rights. This year, we're inviting Banned Books Week Coalition members to participate in a panel discussion where we explore the emerging backlash against government censorship and share stories that provide freelance writers with insights on how to report beyond the culture-war headlines.
