Student Membership Application

Instructions

Complete this application if you are a college student age 18 or older and applying for an individual student membership. You will be charged $35 upon submitting your application.

If the application review committee determines that you qualify for individual student membership, you will be granted student membership through 12/31/2027. If the application review committee determines that you do not qualify, a refund of $35 will be issued.

To be eligible for student membership, applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be currently enrolled as a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
Be pursuing studies in journalism, communications, media, English, creative writing, publishing, or a related field, or demonstrate an interest in freelance writing regardless of major.
Provide proof of current enrollment (such as a class schedule or enrollment verification from your school).
