Collegiate Membership Application

Instructions

Complete this application if you are a college media adviser or educator applying for an institutional membership for your college or university. You will be charged $500 + a $25 non-refundable application fee upon submitting your application.

If the application review committee determines that you qualify for collegiate membership, you will be granted membership through 12/31/2027. If the application review committee determines that you do not qualify, a refund of $500 will be issued.

Collegiate Membership $500 Annually + $25.00 One-Time Fee

Collegiate members must:

Be an accredited college, university, community college, or graduate school.
Be affiliated with an academic department, school, or program in journalism, communications, media, English, writing, publishing, or related disciplines OR
Be affiliated with a student media organization sponsored by an accredited college or university, subject to ASJA approval.

To participate, collegiate members must:

Designate a faculty or staff liaison to serve as the primary ASJA contact.
Purchase an annual Collegiate Membership.
Verify the eligibility of students receiving memberships through the collegiate package.
Comply with ASJA membership policies and renewal requirements.
